El Mexorcist 4: America's most Wanted Inner Demon
Guillermo Gómez-Peña, a provocative voice in contemporary art, gives a performance on indigenous rights in the Western hemisphere.
Known for his creative interrogations of the biological, political, economic, social and cultural consequences of European contact with native cultures, Gómez-Peña uses art to challenge our conventional understanding of the superiority of Western civilization. In conjunction with the performance, Gómez-Peña will present an exhibition offering historical and cultural contexts for his defense of indigenous rights.
