Galerie Anna presents an art exhibition entitled “WOMEN” which is a contemporary visualization of the physical, emotional, psychological, spiritual, and sociological aspects of women.
In the beginning God created man, and then he created a woman out of the man’s rib. The female figure originating from a man’s rib is an exceptional masterpiece of the Supreme Master of Creation. The beauty of the female form is in itself an art. “WOMEN” is an art exhibit inspired from the first creation of humanity.
This exhibition highlights how modern man has evolved from the beginning of time yet continuous to be inspired by the presence of women in the contemporary art scene. Women have come a long way since the birth of man to carve a new path for women of the future and to serve as an inspiration to the world. Women have various roles in society. “WOMEN” is an art exhibition that gives tribute to women from all walks of life.
In the Philippines, society has traditionally maintained its high value for women through respect, admiration, love, honor, and protection. This exhibit unites fourteen artists who, in their own, have loved and admired women: Dominique Alfonso, Fernando Antimano, Salvador Bañares Jr., Kevin Cerda, Leomar Conejos, Ronson Culibrina, Dino Gabito, Adrian Evangelista, John Marin, Jeffrey Salon, Bryan Teves, Erick Villarruz, JR Urao and Michael Zacarias.
