New England Sculptors Association Six Summit Gallery
Six Summit Gallery is a diverse art gallery located in Historic Ivoryton Village, a section of Essex CT. Situated half way between New York and Boston, near the shoreline, the Gallery is conveniently reached from Rt. 9 and I-95.
The New England Sculptors Association, organized in 1948 and one of the oldest sculptors associations in the United States, represents a diverse membership of nationally and regionally recognized sculptors.
The juror for this exhibit is Dr. Pamela Allara, art historian, author, and curator.
In a warm, intimate setting we display a variety of artwork in diverse media, produced by artists and sculptors from CT and all over the world. We are open year round and host art, music, and literary events in Ivoryton and New York City.
The range of art work is carefully selected, and is as eclectic and diverse as the setting of Ivoryton Village. Our price points are high, low and everywhere in-between. Shows are frequent and hung professionally, to achieve a flowing environment in a mixed setting.Ivoryton Village, home to the historic Ivoryton Playhouse, has experienced a major resurgence in the last five years, and Six Summit Gallery is proud to be a contributor. Restaurants, inns, libraries, antique shops, taverns and world class off-broadway performances are all within walking distance. Ivoryton is a beautiful mix of classic and forward beauty with amenities usually found in towns or cities much larger. We are near where the Connecticut River meets the Long Island Sound. Relax, Provoke, Perplex.
