DESCRIPTION

In November 2011, photo artist Tobias Zielony (born 1973, Wuppertal) will be presenting his new “Manitoba” cycle in its entirety for the first time: in the context of a solo show at the MMK Museum für Moderne Kunst Frankfurt am Main’s Zollamt satellite space. In Winnipeg, the capital of the Canadian province of Manitoba, Zielony has created works that record the life of the youths who are members of a gang of Native Americans and the (urban) world in which they live.
