DESCRIPTION

Fairbanks artist Barry McWayne photographed in Alaska for 40+ years. This solo exhibition will draw from several of his extended photographic projects dealing with Alaska's "grand landscape" and from photographic trips to the American desert. Much of McWayne's work comprised winter scenes of ice and snow and sand and rock, featuring pattern and texture details. Barry passed away in August, 2010. This memorial show will be curated by Barry's wife Dorli and fellow Fairbanks photographer, Charles Mason.
