DESCRIPTION

Through a glass darkly we will view the main gallery at Black Swan Arts, which will be transformed into a Victorian Salon for the month of October.  Taking inspiration from Miss Havisham of Great Expectations and the images conjured by the works of Mary Shelley, the gallery will host an eclectic exhibition of work from artists ranging from taxidermy through to etchings.

Artists include: Martin Wade – stills photographer, Emma Wells – glass artist, Adam Harvey – ceramicist, Jim Dales – etchings, Steven Jenkins – ink drawings, Mel Day – wire sculpture, Sarah Baker, Baker & Gray – textiles and interior design, Keith Newstead – automata artist, Christina Holvey – painter, Val Brien – ceramicist, Cristina Eastwood – milliner and Julie Anderson – mixed media sculpture.
