DESCRIPTION

Judy Fox (New York) creates sculptures in hand-painted terracotta and hydrocal that explore the convention of the modernist nude against conventions of the past, from heroic statuary to present-day icons. The centerpiece of the TCM exhibition will be her recent installation Snow White and the Seven Sins that, in the artist's words, "uses surrealism to explore psychological matters...in a mix of biology and fairy tale attire, gore and cartoon."
