CRÓNICA. 1995/2005 EN LA COLECCIÓN JUAN GALLO
This art exhibition explores the private collection, of late Colombian gallerist Juan Gallo, which includes works by artists with a wide international recognition.
These artists work led to the transformation of the contemporary art scene in our country. The work was produced during the decade from 1995 to 2005 and have in common a strong relationship with the sociopolitical context. Many of them were in response to a series of situations of suffering that marked this period of time, during a decade of strong economic recession and violence, as the process 8000, the demilitarization of Caguan under the leadership of Andres Pastrana and clashes with guerrillas and paramilitaries under the first government of Alvaro Uribe.
