Arts Administrator, The Acorn Penzance | Deadline November 13, 2017

The Acorn Theatre, Penzance is looking to appoint one full time or two part time Administrators for this much-loved community arts venue. The overall function of the post/s is to ensure the smooth, effective and profitable running of The Acorn Theatre, Penzance. Strong organisational and interpersonal skills are essential.

You are required to work closely, effectively and harmoniously with performers and their agents, trustees, volunteers and all our customers, so excellent communication, influencing and negotiating skills are also essential.

Applicants for part time positions are asked to apply either for the Event Programming role or the Office Administration role. The full time job covers both role briefs.

Both experienced and recently qualified applicants are welcome to apply.

The job/s is busy. Core office hours need to be covered, and there is a need for flexibility as evening and weekend working is also required.

Salary £18,000 pa (pro rata), plus the Acorn Incentive Bonus Scheme, dependent on the organisation’s annual financial performance. Total salary costs could rise to £21,600 gross for 6 employee days per week as finances permit.
