We’re looking to recruit a new friendly Receptionist to support the Office & Events Manager and manage our busy Reception. The post requires delivery of exceptional customer service and the ability to enhance visitor experience at the Workshop. Role:
– Respond to all in-person, email and telephone enquiries
– Represent the workshop as the first point of contact for members, visitors and freelancers
– Work alongside the office staff and workshop technicians to ensure the smooth running of the workshop on a day to day basis
– Ensure the highest standard of customer care while maintaining a friendly environment
– Process payments and issue refunds
– Create invoices and manage petty cash
– Keyholder responsibilities – opening and locking up, ensuring the building is secure at the end of the day
– Keep up to date with the programme of courses, events, inductions and general activities of the workshop
– Manage deliveries
– Assist with events planning and delivery
– Assist with social media promotion
– Assist with administrative tasks – filing, data entry, organisation systems, updating the online drive

Other Information:
– Hours per week: 38 hours a week (2 x Saturdays a month)
– Salary: £19K
– Annual Leave: 25 days
– Reports to: Office & Events Manager
– Auto-enrollment into The People’s Pension
