The exhibition is good, and congrats to the artist. A good friend of mine told me a rather disturbing story recently. He had been working with scott for years, and scott has helped him a great deal. Recently scott has not been able to sell as much art to pay his bills and has resorted to throwing events to sustain his gallery. Scott openly admits his failure, in his bathroom there is a painting that says 'BLACKBALL' which he says he got an employee to make in order to remind him how his ex-wife has "blackballed" him in the houston art community. His openings are lucky if they attract more than a few people. When my longtime friend decided he had enough of circling the drain, he decided to reevaluate their relationship and went to take his art back. Scott frustrated at his loss of a great artist decided to take his frustrations out on his husband and their vehicle. Besides the money he already owes the artist he is now refusing to pay for damages he caused to their vehicle...did i mention he did all this three days before their marriage. DO NOT WORK WITH HIM!
