Call to Student Artists in Southern California

The Spotlight Program is one of the nation’s premier arts education and scholarship programs for teens, offering training in the performing and visual arts and awarding more than $100,000 in scholarships annually to finalists, semi-finalists, and participants who receive honorable mentions. Spotlight is FREE and open to all high school students (including approved independent study and home school programs) in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, Santa Barbara and Ventura counties at time of deadline. Participants can take advantage of free museum tours and workshops. Category entrants compete for a first grand prize cash scholarship of $5,000 and a second grand prize cash scholarship of $4,000. Honorable mentions receive $250 cash scholarships, and semi-finalists receive $100 cash scholarships.
