"My compositions are based on personal iconography that I draw, shoot from my camera or collect from the internet. Each work contains a set of relevant images juxtaposed over and against one another to create a pictorial composition that is undergoing significant transformation. The raw energy in the work alludes to the growth vs. comfort we experience in today’s high velocity world. The distortion and juxtaposition of images speaks to how we process thousands of images every day, in snippets. As the artist, I capture the feeling of transformation we are experiencing as humans in a digital revolution and use it to reveal a deeper truth about the self."
