During His 40--year Work In Tibet
The exhibition showcases over 90 pieces of works of Han Shuli in 40 years since he came to work in Tibet, including Chinese painting Chairman Mao Care About Us created in 1970s, Chinese ink painting on variant canvasPlateau Auspicious Clouds-Tibet Peaceful Liberation created 30 years later, comic book Bang Jing Meiduo(selection) that won gold medal at the National Art Exhibition in 1980s, Chinese ink painting series created in the end of 1990s by using Tibetan Chinese rice paper through exploration of the painter, pinup picture in brocadesticking to by the painter for decades. The heavy colored painting on Tibetan canvas originated from Tibet Tangka is another highlight of the exhibition.
Han Shuli’s works are filled with intellectual enquiries to philosophy, in-depth understanding to real life and unique appreciationofthebeauty, which, just as what the painter said, all benefit from acceptance and recognition ofTibetan compatriots, immersion and nourishment of Tibetan culture. In this sense, this exhibition is an achievement report to both people of the Capital and Tibetan compatriots.
