DESCRIPTION

‚ÄčElephant Room Gallery focuses on exhibiting Chicago-based, emerging artists, while still broadening their mission to include artists from all over through open calls for group shows and select solo exhibitions. The intimate, storefront gallery opened in the South Loop in November of 2009 and regularly collaborates with other organizations in other spaces. The gallery is interested in fostering a community that exchanges ideas, collaborates and inspires and they represent artists who continue to grow in their techniques, explorations and ideas in order to bring the public an exciting and immersing gallery experience. The gallery believes art should be accessible to everyone and they cater to both new and seasoned collectors with artwork available by artists who are actively making powerful and relevant work.
