The Silver Room is a firm believer in all things creative and making lifestyle worthwhile. Art is a crucial element in this belief system. In our gallery space we exhibit new works of uniquely talented local artists in a range of mediums including painting, illustration, mixed-media, photography, sculpture, video & sound. THE WORD ACCORDING TO KRISTA
"Magazine" (or "The Fragmented Narrative of a Paper Junkie") is an exhibition of new and rarely shown collages by poet and visual artist, Krista Franklin. The of work in "Magazine" is a collection of improvisation visual commentaries on the socio-political and popular cultural imaginings of celebrity, and the real and imagined lives of people of color.
