DESCRIPTION

Gallery 400 and The Burlington are proud to present an evening of experimental music and sound art performances by Steve Roden, Neil Jendon, and John Kannenberg.

Steve Roden, a visual and sound artist working in Los Angeles, has experimented with sound works for nearly twenty years and has exhibited his work in museums, arts spaces, and festivals worldwide. This performance will mark Roden’s first work in Chicago since 2001. In addition to his netlabel and online gallery for experimental art, Stasisfield.com, John Kannenberg uses both image and sound to investigate the experiences of time, the sonics of space, and the process of creating art. Chicago-based artist Neil Jendon uses recordings and live performances to reveal spaces of noise, ambience, improvisation, and minimalism. Recent projects include live shows with Wolf Eyes, Locrian, Anatomy of Habit, and live collaborations with Rabid Rabbit, Sshe Retina Stimulants, and Vertonen.

Admission to the show is $8.00 and you must be 21 to attend. For more information, visit The Burlington.
