DESCRIPTION

Come meet Southern Illinois artist Mario Trejo and curator Bob Sill, ISM Assistant Director of Art, at the Illinois State Museum Lockport Gallery on Sunday, September 9, 2012, from 2:00 to 3:00 pm.  This open dialogue between Artist and Curator is sure to reveal much about the artist’s processes and ideas and the curator’s methods of selection.  This ISMLG “Talk & Tour Program”—part of our continuing “Sunday Series”—is free and open to the public; reservations are not required though seating is limited.  Mario Trejo is one of four artists featured in the current exhibition Focus 4: Four Solo Exhibitions on view thru October 4, 2012.  Also included in the exhibition is the work of Illinois artists Steven Robnett, Don Seiden, and Rebecca Wolfram.
