DESCRIPTION

Daniela Ehemann works across multiple disciplines of Installation, Sculpture and Drawing. During her residency with threewalls her aim is to challenge the masterpieces of architecture, especially in Chicago to develop new absurd forms and models in which the seismograph of time gets reflected. These forms will go with observational drawings, photographs and lead to a work in process installation with final format.

Beside she will work with performative experiments where all inhabitants of chicago (for example passers-by, artists, architects…) are invited to take part and play with the "Heroes" of the architecture scene in chicago to deconstruct, drop them off and lead their own dialogue with the outer identity. So the "empty spaces"  will get filled with new forms and develop a final Installation whereas the viewer experiences new perspectives.
