DESCRIPTION

Just in time for the holidays, Project Onward invites you to a studio sale featuring original artwork, note cards, book marks, and our famous hand-painted holiday ornaments. And no Project Onward Holiday Sale would be complete without a Portrait Slam! Selected artists will be stationed in the First Floor Garland Room at the Chicago Cultural Center, ready to create custom portraits that will amaze and delight. Participating artists include Sereno Wilson, Fernando Ramirez, Adam Hines, David Holt, Andrew Hall, and Pedro Basantes. Portrait sittings take about half an hour and are a great way to obtain cool and affordable original art. They also provide a unique opportunity to get to know an artist and to support the amazing work they do. Prices start at $20 for a single portrait or $100 for six portraits. Space is limited, so reserve your sitting today at (312) 744-8032 or info@projectonward.org.

Project Onward is a program of the Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events in partnership with the Chicago Office of Tourism and Culture, and is partially funded by grants from the Dr. Scholl Foundation and the I.A. O'Shaughnessy Foundation.
