DESCRIPTION

A major figure in contemporary art, Kiki Smith has investigated a variety of themes in her work: the fragility of the body, the personalities of animals and persistent forces of nature, fairy tales, the notion of narrative, and more.

During this special program at the Block Museum, Madeleine Grynsztejn, Pritzker Director of the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago, will speak with Smith about her work and career.
