Contemporary conceptual group show metaphorically looking at fashion with all its implications: glamour, charm, distraction, absence, longing, memory, play, gender/class authority, technology/labor issues. Artists hail from Chicago, Milwaukee, Los Angeles, New York and Berlin, work in sculpture, photography, video and installation and include: Jane Brucker, Julie Laffin, Diane Simpson, Jean Marie Casberian, Pate Conaway, Mike Rea, Beverly Semmes, and Erwin Wurm. Guest-curated by Karen Brown, Director of Bad Dog Gallery, DeKalb.
