DESCRIPTION

Due to popular demand, Floating World Gallery (FWG) reprises their popular free seminar " The Great Wave: An Introduction to Japanese Woodblock Prints" Saturday, July 31 from 1-3 p.m. at 1925 N. Halsted St. Chicago IL, 60614, The seminar, conducted by FWG's Director of Exhibitions Elias Martin, will address multiple genres, ranging from the mid-1600s to today; and draw upon the gallery's renowned collection of Japanese prints. Participants will also have the rare opportunity to examine original museum quality prints up close. Everyone, from the novice to seasoned collector, is welcome. Light refreshments will be served.
