DESCRIPTION

A gallery talk for From Process to Print: Graphic Works by Romare Bearden is given by Pat Johnson, founding director of the Museum of the
African Diaspora in San Francisco, and co-host of WTTW’s Grannies on Safari.

Throughout all his art, Romare Bearden wove a rich tapestry of literary, biblical, mythological, popular culture, and western and non-western references informed by his African American cultural experiences.
