I'm not an art critic but I was really taken by Raquel's work and the way it was shown at Alderman Exhibitions. The best way I have to describe her work is as peaceful and charming as the artist herself. Talking to her about her grandfather's creative work and her immersion in it was such a revelation that we can learn from our ancestors in new and different ways. The exhibition space itself is filled with the exuberance of youth with a different twist on your usual gallery. The bicycle shop through the glass door gives this amazing touch of the arts juxtaposed with concrete details of the real world.
