DESCRIPTION

PROJECT SPACE GRÜNERHUND is a young non-profit exhibition project, situated in Berlin

Prenzlauer Berg, in directly neighborhood of Volkspark Friedrichshain.

PROJECT SPACE GRÜNERHUND wishes to give space and time to present a well selected

variety of national and international young emerging contemporary artists. In autumn 2008

the GRÜNERHUND was founded as a showroom as part of the appartment of the artist

Andrea Hildebrandt.

In four to six exhibitions per year, mostly Berlin based artists are invited to show their work

in Solo-Shows as well as in Group-Shows. The focus is mainly on painting and drawing.

In 2009, three Solo-Exhibitions - one with the swedish artist Sofie Arfwidson, the american

artist Tyson Skross and Simone Haack from Berlin took place. In september 2009, the first

Group-Show: "Into Nature" with works by the artists Mira Thomsen, Sonja Gerdes, Kerstin

Wagener, Sandrine Maheo etc. had been realised.

For the upcoming shows in 2010 the aim is, to focus more and more on artists, whose work

is concentrating on the topic "nature".
