> DESCRIPTION

This exhibition brings the works of Petrina Ng, John Monteith, Alex Fischer, and Callum Schuster into a conversation regarding the translation of geographies that are foreign, ideologies that are suspect, and modes of technology to which we find ourselves unwittingly beholden. The arrow of understanding, as Translation permits, rarely points in one direction, however. The exhibition also provides recourse into how translations can abet the fetishization of objects, enabling simple daily acts and experiences to suddenly become monumental.
