We are pleased to announce an exhibition of works by Canadian artist Eric Atkinson at Moore Gallery, 80 Spadina Avenue suite 404 in Toronto opening at 2:00p.m.on Saturday, February 9, 2013.

Eric Atkinson - Small and Large Landscapes

Now in his eighties, Eric Atkinson’s landscapes are as evocative as ever. Eric has always been fascinated by the Canadian landscape and how forces, both human and natural have shaped the land. The rush of water, gusts of wind, the crack of the hammer…all of these chip away at the land, creating over long periods of time the world around us. Atkinson’s relationship with the Ontario landscape results in intense personal moments masterfully transferred to the canvas through exaggeration and omission.
