ArtSlant.com opened its first arts portal to the contemporary art world in Los Angeles in February 2007. It now has 15 editions worldwide providing art information and access with global breadth and local depth. Working with a team of editors, writers, art connectors and art watchers, ArtSlant provides up-to-minute calendars of exhibits and art events as well as the need-to-know art news, reviews of the best exhibitions from around the world, commentary and events coverage on a city-by-city basis.
ArtSlant's artist programs bring opportunities for exposure and exhibition to our worldwide community of contemporary artists. The ArtSlant Prize is a juried annual competition resulting in multiple exhibition opportunities for our artists and culminating in a fair booth exhibition for the top selected artists. The Georgia Fee Artist | Writer Residency is a biannual, two-month long residency in an apartment in the Montparnasse district of Paris. These and other exhibition opportunities are available to all ArtSlant artists.
