"Windswept" is part of a landscape series I began in 2009.  Using natural materials such as Japanese Maple branches and Mariposa slate juxtaposed with forms created from acid-stained cement and a variety of metals and metal leaf, I have created a series of landscapes that reflect in an abstract manner my love of nature and the peace I find there.  "Windswept" depicts an organic form nestled between two windswept trees.  This triad sits at the edge of a golden sea.
