POP Native Pulse 2009

POP Gallery hosts its Third Annual Native POP Show featuring work by emerging and established POP Artists in the Santa Fe Art Market. Aptly titled Native Pulse this body of work pulsates with the current stories coarsing through our artists hearts, minds & souls---it is Native Pulse 2009.

Raising green bucks to feed homeless in our community each artist will create a 5 X 5 miniature work to be auctioned off to benefit Bienvenidos, a local non profit organization established in 1989 serving the peoples of Santa Fe. Your non taxable donation directly supports a humanitarian effort.

For the first time the show is reviewed in advance by an established POP Panel and three Pop awards (Pops) will be presented. Panel includes Dennis Larkins, Mark Bryan, Kathie Olivas, Brandt Peters, Carrie Ann Baade, Douglas Miles, Patsy Phillips, Sharla Throckmorton-McDowell and Michael McDowell.

Artist reception Saturday August 22nd 6-8pm... Hors d'oeuvres and beverages compliments of Santa Fe's new brewery on the Plaza, Marble Brewery.

In addition to works for sale each artist will create a POP Petite (miniature board--6 X 6) work as a donation to be auctioned off --benefiting Bienvenidos, a local non profit organization established in 1989 that serves the needs of our community, dishing over 500 meals a week. POP Gallery will also donate a portion of the show proceeds to the charity and locals artists, hotels, restuaraunts and retailers are contributing items. The auction opens 8-22-08 and closes 8-31-08.
