Ventana Fine Art invites the public to a two-man exhibition of new paintings by John Axton and Doug Dawson. John Axton is known for winning compositions and a technical virtuosity that characterize his major stylistic periods, none of which he ever abandons completely. A founding artist of the Denver Art Students’ League, Doug Dawson is known for his urban night scenes and a variety of other subjects with visual and emotional appeal. Celebrate the 29^th anniversary of Ventana’s representation of these perennially popular artists at their opening reception on Friday, July 27, from 5 to 7 p.m. The two-man show runs through August 13.
