On Friday, June 8th, Canyon Road Contemporary Art will present a show featuring three figurative artists, Lance Green, Mark Horst and Pablo Perea. The Artist's Reception will be from 5:00 - 7:00 PM and will continue through June 18th, 2012.
The show will provide insight into three distinct perspectives as each artist explores the many facets of humanity in their deeply-felt, emotive paintings.
Lance Green Lance Green’s auto-biographical depictions of beings suspended within an emotional space activate our primal recognition of happiness, frailty, distress and contemplation.
Mark Horst Mark Horst employs movement, gesture, light and form as he invites insight into the spirit. At once intimate and provocative, his works capture the essence of humanity in a breath of time.
Pablo Perea Originally from Cuba, Pablo Perea recreates moments of his life with the perspective of an immigrant, weaving story-telling with symbolism through the soulful eyes of his muse.
