On view through February is our Revolving Winter Group Show. It’s an opportunity to view a unique combination of work from a wide range of artists. Some highlights include Rose B. Simpson’s Return of Saturn installation, lithographs from Tamarind Institute by Jim Dine and David Row, charcoal drawings by Daniel Brice, new mixed media wall pieces from John Garrett, and recent “tapa” paper pieces from Gayle Crites.
Many of the 2012 solo exhibitions have been finalized; names and dates are listed in the exhibition pages of our site. Our two major group shows this summer include Australian Contemporary Indigenous Art – Part II in July, and the annual Contemporary Native American show in August. Both shows tie into a powerful native aesthetic that challenges expectations and breaks new ground in their respective genres.
Hope you get a chance to see this show or check out the new work on our website!
