George O. Jackson has had exhibitions at The Smithsonian Institution in Washington D.C., the San Antonio Museum of Art and El Museo Nacional de Anthropologia in Mexico City. His work has been published in Assemblage, a critical journal of architecture and design published by MIT press from 1986 to 2000. His most recent exhibition was in Paris, France. This will be his first exhibition in Santa Fe.
The photographs in this exhibition reference prominent art historical figures including Rene Magritte and Salvador Dali, while others pay homage to contemporary New Mexico artists Larry Bell, Ken Price and prominent Santa Fe residents Laura Carpenter and Fred Kline.
