City Art Cooperative Gallery has been artist owned and artist operated since 1998: artists pool their time, skills, and energy to share their art with the world. This unique Mission institution exhibits a wide range of media, all from local artists: from painting to photography, sculpture to jewelry. The gallery's price range is accessible to new art lovers as well as seasoned collectors. The exhibit changes each month, so there is always new work to see. Eighty percent of every sale at City Art goes directly back to the artists, so when you buy from City Art you are truly and directly supporting local art, local creativity, and local community. New show opens with a reception the first Friday of every month.
