Cain Schulte Gallery aims for excellence both in vision and execution, through a full schedule of exhibitions and events. Since its opening in 2006, Cain Schulte Gallery is proud to be an influential presence and an important exhibition venue in the San Francisco art scene.
The gallery represents contemporary artists from the United States and Europe with a focus in painting. The gallery has a continuous exhibition program, that usually features one or two solo shows every 4-6 weeks. Cain Schulte Gallery consistently participates in national and international art fairs. Cain Schulte Gallery seeks to champion emerging and mid-career contemporary artists working in a range of media who bring fresh interpretative visions to their own genres and work within the context of the most contemporary art trends.
Since 2006, our exhibitions and artists have been featured in the San Francisco Chronicle, Art Ltd., Art Week, 7x7 Magazine, SF Weekly, ArtForum, ARTnews, KQED's arts program Gallery Crawl, on the internet at Artnet, SF Gate, SF Station, Juxtapos, and Artbusiness.com, among many others.
Portions of our collection have been loaned to museums as well, most recently to the Tang Museum in New York.
