The Cassel Gallery is a contemporary art gallery in the heart of the SoMa as the collaborative effort of fourth generation hat maker and owner Ben Goorin and art director Jeff Rubin. Paving the way for the gallery is Goorin Brother's 1333 Minna line, founded in 2007, which has melded the talents of a variety of contemporary artists with backgrounds in painting, mixed media, photography, street art, tattoo art and other backgrounds.
Artists featured in previous exhibitions include Victor Reyes, STEEL, Amanda Lynn, Ken Goto, Jesico, Ian Johnson, Kami, Lango, Dylan Maddux, Pose, Luke Stewart, Chris Edmunds, Nicholas Portalupi, Erin Ashford, Richard Colman, George Campise, Renee Fontana, Jurne, Erik Reith, Anna Delis, Jeff Croci, Lucien Shapiro, Nick Chaboya, Joey Armstrong, Henry Lewis, Andy Stattmiller and more.
The 1333 Minna artist collective has featured the works of STEEL, Victor Reyes, Amanda Lynn, Andy Stattmiller, Bert Krak, Norm, Retna, EWOK, The Mac, PUSH, Belsky, Lango, Yutaro Sakai, Grime, Orly Locquiano, Jason Kundell, Sasu, MQ, and more.
