Alphonse Berber Gallery opened Alphonse Berber Projects in Union Square, San Francisco on June 4, 2010. Located at 575 Sutter St, it is housed in a multi-level building dedicated to showcasing the most contemporary artworks. Alphonse Beber Projects presents single-artist exhibitions and features the widest possible range of mediums.
Alphonse Berber Gallery reports, with feelings of excitement and nostalgia, its decision to merge Alphonse Berber Gallery (Berkeley) with Alphonse Berber Projects (San Francisco). With the closing of our doors in the beautiful Bancroft Way location, Cameron Jackson and Jessica Cox, the gallery directors, will be able to focus more fully on the Union Square location which also houses their other project: MAI West. Nathaniel Parsons' show WITH (July 2010), will be the final show at Alphonse Berber Gallery in Berkeley. The support of the Berkeley community in our one and a half years on Bancroft has been overwhelming, and our recent success in our new location would not have been possible without it.
