Alta Galleria carries fine art, paintings, and sculpture. The gallery features rotating shows of artists, many that are local to the San Francisco Bay Area.

Located in the heart of the established Elmwood District of Berkeley, Alta Galleria takes advantage of the high volume of foot traffic from both locals and visitors.

The historic Elmwood Theater has just been renovated and is at one side of the courtyard leading to the gallery. The gallery is in a quaint courtyard, and provides a serene retreat to contemplate art.
