Mission Statement
301 BOCANA Gallery is a contemporary art space with a core mission to exhibit and support emerging artists who's work embodies a rigorous commitment to their art practice in process, form, and content, and engages our awareness of our collective humanity, power, and vitality.
301 BOCANA Gallery is committed to cultivating an environment of open art access within the gallery space, as well as extending the reach of art beyond its walls to merge the arts community with the community at large.
History
301 BOCANA Gallery introduced its first exhibition in June 2006. In the last eight months of programming, BOCANA has been warmly and enthusiastically welcomed and received by its local Bernal Heights community, as well as the Bay Area arts community. Many thanks to all who have supported the gallery through its infancy, and many thanks to all of the talented artists who have exhibited their work.
