We have a diverse and exciting group of artists showing their work and sharing their commentary on body image for our upcoming Frisbie St. show on May 21, 22 and 23.

What is it about a person’s physical being that can create such intense and varied emotional responses in others? How are our emotional responses to human appearance learned (personally and/or culturally) vs. hard-wired?

How do the natural and chosen processes and transformations that people’s bodies go through influence the way you relate to those people?

Mirror Image explores body image and body (mis) perceptions.
