> DESCRIPTION

The Hayward Area Park and Recreation District’s PhotoCentral Gallery presents One Earth One People: Photography of Connection and Interconnection, curated by Geir Jordahl and features the work of Brooke Duthie, Curtis Griffin, Juanita Hemanes, Oliver Klink, Nicholas Pavloff, Mark Tuschman, and John Wimberley. This exciting exhibition will juxtapose landscape/portraits/cultures/flora/fauna to create a dialogue between human concerns and our interconnectedness to the earth.
The exhibition will be held from November 20, 2009 to January 16, 2010 with a reception on from 6-9 pm on November 20th. All are welcome and admission is free. Gallery hours for this exhibition are Monday, 5-10 pm; Tues & Thurs, 10 am-1 pm; Friday, 7-9 pm; and Saturday, 12 noon-3 pma
In conjunction with the exhibition, PhotoCentral will be sponsoring two workshops with John Wimberley, Mount Diablo in Autumn with John Wimberley and Rick Knepp and John’s inspiring Sight & Insight: Opening to Creativity, a day of artistic exploration.
