The landscape of science fiction plays a major role in popular culture. Through photography, painting, installation, performance, and assemblage, 12 contemporary artists show how the idea of the strange help us all to define the familiar. ‘A Universe We Can Believe In’ is a reminder that sometimes the alien is closer to home than we might think.
