This show will be the second in a trilogy of shows called The Labyrinth of Form. The theme is based around ecological themes ranging from transpersonal psychology to metaphorical speculation of greater environmental mysteries. “The Bright Darkness” focuses on images and themes which many may classify as “Dark” but come from a particular zeitgeist which in actuality is based on hope, honesty and metaphor.

The Swee(t)art Drawing Gallery is a side gallery, located inside the Compound Gallery. Its purpose is the display and sale of high-concept, group art shows made up of only Drawing, as an art to its own end.

The first show of the trilogy was called “The Modern Chimera” and opened on August 7th with Teppei Ando, Christine Benjamin, Jon Carling, Matt Decker, Martha Sue Harris, Dave Higgins and Kevin Earl Taylor.
