EpiscoDisco

Community congregates for live performance, contemporary art, DJ's and drinks at Grace Cathedral at this monthly event hosted by the Reverend Bertie Pearson and Paradise Now.

Artist Andrew Benson

Painterly hues pulse and recoil in fleshly aberrations in Andrew Benson's video work under the watchful arches of Grace Cathedral. Andrew Benson is a San Francisco-based interdisciplinary artist and teacher who creates video performances, videos, paintings, noise, strange electronics, interactive media, installations, wearable technology, and software. Benson has exhibited throughout the Bay Area and beyond, and recently performed live video work for M.I.A. at Coachella.

Grace Cathedral

Grace Cathedral serves as a regional magnet where diverse people gather to worship, celebrate, seek solace, converse, and learn. "Great buildings are outward expressions of the human spirit…which speak to the human urge to transcend the mundane and commune with the divine.” Grace Cathedral has always had relationships with contemporary artists, most notably Ansel Adams and more recently Keith Herring, and “embraces innovation and open-minded conversation where inclusion is expected and people of all faiths are welcomed.”

Paradise Now

Paradise Now is nondenominational curatorial duo Eve Ekman and Jean Cooney, showcasing artists who engage this awe-inspiring space through multi-media installations and performing arts.
