Join us for a night of artist talks with 2013-2014 fellowship artists Andrew Connelly and Eric Larson. Kala's Fellowship Program includes an annual series of public programs presented by current Fellows during their studio residencies. It is free of charge and open to the public.
Mainly noted for installation, performance and mixed media sculpture, Andrew Connellyhas exhibited his works in contemporary museums and alternative gallery spaces around the US most notably Forum For Contemporary Art St. Louis, Boca Raton Museum of Art, Tampa Museum of Art and at the Center for Contemporary Art Sacramento. His works have been published in Art in America, New Art examiner and the Village Voice. Connelly is currently a professor at Sacramento State University where he has been teaching sculpture, installation and performance art since 2003.
Eric Larson received his MFA from California College of the Arts in 2004. He has exhibited his work throughout the Bay Area and nationally. He was recently awarded a Residency at Kala Art Institute in 2014. He has worked as an Art Instructor at Creativity Explored since 2004.
