Park Life Gallery Presents

Down Below the Feet

Down Below the Feet features the work of a small group of artists that work in the fields of both abstract and figurative. The group includes internationally recognized artists and emerging artists. The exhibition offers the notion that there are different ways, methods, and styles in which a person expresses themselves depending on their motivation, circumstance, influences, or simply by conscious choice. Sometimes these methods and practices go unnoticed or exist outside of the eye of an audience.

In curating this show Rich Jacobs and Jordin Isip have selected artists who have produced engaging works rooted in both abstract and figurative styles, though they may be more widely known for one or the other.  Certain freedoms and expectations are known to exist in either realm, and this exhibit will present unexpected points of view from artists asked to present work outside their established zones of comfort in addition to their more established voices.
