APAture: A Window into the Art of Emerging Asian Pacific American Artists
October 4 - 26, 2013 | Multiple Venues, San Francisco & Oakland
APAture, founded in 1999 to bring the next generation of artists to KSW, presents and examines the work of emerging Bay Area APA talent in visual art, film/video, literary/book arts, music, performance, and experimental media. Events will take place at various venues in San Francisco and Oakland with complementary arts workshops. The festival is juried and curated by the General Planning Committee, an all-volunteer, peer-based committee that is also responsible for planning, coordinating, and staffing APAture.
Produced by Kearny Street Workshop
Kearny Street Workshop, the nation's oldest Asian Pacific American (APA) multidisciplinary arts organization, welcomes the return of APAture, its 12th signature arts festival offering a window into the art of emerging APA artists.
