RESCHEDULED!

Artist Talk + Film Screening with Bella Feldman
New Date: Saturday, November 2, from 1 - 3 pm

The Talk + Film Screening originally planned for this Saturday has just been rescheduled due to health reasons. This event will now take place on Saturday, November 2, from 1 - 3 pm.

Meet and be inspired by 83-year-old Oakland artist and sculptor Bella Feldman during a screening of Bella Bella a film that explores Bella's studio and artistic process, and delivers an intimate and personal view into her life and relationships. This 30-minute documentary, produced by Elizabeth Sher, provides a unique and candid view of a vibrant artist whose contributions to Bay Area art extend far beyond her work and include the many artists she taught during her 36 years as professor of sculpture at the California College of Arts. After the screening, enjoy a lively conversation and Q+A with Bella Feldman moderated by San Francisco artist and writer Dewitt Cheng. Free.Sat, Nov 2, 1 - 3 pm

This event is in conjunction with Bella: A 50-year survey of the work of Bella Feldman, her first major survey featuring 50-years of impressive steel and blown glass sculptures, collages and paintings, which runs through Nov. 15. Funds for this exhibition were provided by the Zellerbach Family Foundation.
